"Jeong-ok lives as a female diver on the island of Jeju. Korean Female diver (Called by 'Haenyeo') Jeong-ok is deep in worrying while she work seeing increasing sea waste.

While doing the shell collect, she met mother dolphin and heard sad news. "

‘여름눈(Summer Snow)’은 해양폐기물로 인해 차가운 숨을 거둔 새끼 돌고래와 이를 아파하는 해녀의 교감을 담은 해양폐기물 업사이클링 스톱모션 단편 작품입니다. 여름에 눈이 내린다는 것은 있을 수 없는 일이며, 있어서는 안되는 일이기도 합니다. 이번 작품 속 돌고래와 해녀의 모습을 통해 더이상 해양폐기물로 인해 아픔을 겪는 생물들이 나타나지 않았으면 하는 마음을 담았습니다. 해녀와 돌고래 퍼펫을 제외한 전 세트는 충남 평택항의 해안가에서 직접 수거한 해양폐기물을 활용하여 제작되었으며, 작품 제작 과정에서 ‘새것’의 사용을 최대한으로 자제하며 전 제작 과정에서 폐기물 발생을 최소화하려 하였습니다.

"Summer Snow" is about the interaction between a baby dolphin who died coldly from ocean waste and a female diver who suffers from this sadness. Snow in summer is something that can never happen, and it can't happen. Through the images of dolphins and haenyeo in this work, I hope that there will no longer be any creatures suffering from ocean waste. All sets, except for haenyeo and dolphin puppets, were produced using ocean waste collected directly from the coast of Pyeongtaek Port, and I tried to minimize the generation of waste during the entire production process, while refraining from using 'New' to the maximum extent.
